Bowls DARNHALL 7 - 0 C.S.S.A. (20.7.10) A bad night at Darnhall. Our 3 rinks were all well beaten on what vaguely resembled a bowling green. Our title hopes still lie in our own hands. We still have a 9 point lead with North End having 2 matches to play before we play our last game against Letham on Thursday 5th August. In League competitions, we still have interest in all 3 competitions. Iain Fisher and Eddie Sailor have rinks in the quarter finals of the Dempster Trophy. Iain Fisher & Chic Layland are in the semi finals of the Murray Pairs where they could meet Annette and David McGarvie if they win ther quarter final. David McGarvie is in the semi finals of the Dow Trophy.
World Cup 2010 Winner of our prediction competition was Stuart Swan on 81 points. 2nd place was Alan Hutchison on 75 points with Alan Brownlie & Benn Blyth sharing 3rd place on 74 points.
