Photography Club
The club photographic section meets in the club throughout the year on a Thursday at 7:30. “Formal” meetings are from July to May each year but informal gatherings of keen members are, for the rest of the year in the lounge bar where the virtues of technique, cameras, lenses and ale are discussed. At the regular meetings of the section photography is discussed, advice is available from experienced members, tutorials are given with practical sessions, and photographic outings run throughout the season.
Competitions are participated in within the section locally and, on a national level, through the Scottish Photographic Federation of which we are members.
Anyone with a genuine interest in photography is welcome at our meetings where you will meet keen photographers with varying degrees of experience
